WAYS TO GROW OUR FAMILY on #GivingTuesday

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 8 years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

This Giving Tuesday on December 1, Photo Start aims to raise $50,000 to GROW OUR FAMILY. The funds will provide much-needed digital equipment and infrastructure to reach new and existing students in communities with limited resources.

DONATE CASH

Every dollar counts. Drop a donation on our GivingTuesday page. Ask your employer if they make matching donations.

Start a Facebook Fundraiser on our behalf. It’s easy! We recommend setting a goal of $500 to start.

Donate your old iPad. If your Black Friday/Cyber Monday plans include new gear, we’ll take your used, functional digital devices and photo equipment. We desperately need iPads, but can always use any item listed below. Donate your gear here.

Speaking of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, make sure to do your shopping at Smile.Amazon.com and select Photo Start as your charity. We’ll get 0.5% of your qualifying purchases!

Start a donation drive. Collect used digital and photo equipment from your neighbors, school, office, or other community organizations. If someone doesn’t have gear, they can donate boxes and packing material, or cash to cover shipping costs.

Spread the news: Tell your friends all about us and share our donation link via Email, text, DMs, TikTok or bat signal.

Become a volunteer! We always need help around the virtual office with admin, website, marketing, IT, video production, & social media.
