For the first time, Photo Start will be presenting at the PhotoPlus Expo 2019 edition in New York. In the past we have been attending as visitors but this year the PhotoPlus Expo organizers have generously donated booth number 264 to Photo Start. We are so proud to be part of this community, and excited to have a chance to showcase the work our children produce to such a diverse audience. As we aim to empower the youth through photography, we look forward to engaging further with this community of creators and artists, expand our network and learn from our peers in the industry.

We would love to meet you, so please drop by booth 264 for a short visit. We will be happy to tell you more about our charity work as you interact with the children’s work. Come and learn how you can support our cause and help us continue providing our program free of charge to our students and partners. With your help, we can continue to empower young people with digital skills and self-confidence. Since our inception in 2016, we have provided over 20,000 aggregate hours of education to 600 children in severely disadvantaged communities, providing them with the necessary skills to escape a life of poverty while building skills to improve their chances of employment and advancement. We’ve helped young people go from gangsters to full-time employees in the media and other industries, simply because they grabbed the opportunity to improve their skills and turn their lives around. We cannot do it alone; we need your help.
