Meet Gaireyah Fredericks, a lifelong Paarl, Cape Town, South Africa resident. Gaireyah teaches at MCM Miqlat, a local organization that focuses on strategic, sustainable solutions for those suffering from the impact of poverty. Photo Start has been providing in-person classes at MCM since 2018.

“Being part of the Photo Start group provides me the opportunity to explore beyond my boundaries in teaching, and creating content for online teaching transforms me and moves my horizons, too. I am honored to be part of this team and see myself developing and creating even more.”- Gaireyah

Thank you, Gaireyah, for your passion and commitment to inspiring students and giving them a brighter future!

Would you like to share your passion and talent with Photo Start and join our family of volunteers? Fill out this short form and we’ll get back to you with next steps.
