Katrin Eismann is the chair of the MPS Digital Photography graduate program at the School of Visual Arts. Ms. Eismann is perfectly tied into the crossroads of education and photography. She is one of the foremost authorities on Adobe products, and has served as a teacher, mentor, and guide in many of our efforts.
Brad Smith is an award winning photo editor, and the founder and director of Brad Smith Creative, a visual consulting group. Over the course of his decades long career, Brad has worked for Time Inc., Sports Group, the New York Times, and was the Assistant Director of Photography for the White House.
Brian Smith is an Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, a Sony Artisan of Imagery, a Profoto Legend of Light, and X-Rite Master Coloratti. For over 30 years, Brian’s photos of portraits of famous celebrities, athletes and executives have been used in advertising, by corporations. His work has been featured on the covers and pages of hundreds of magazines including Sports Illustrated, ESPN the Magazine, Time, Forbes, New York Times Magazine, Elle and British GQ.
Sonny Kalsi is Founder and Partner of GreenOak Real Estate investments. A renowned businessman with a background in Wall St., Sonny is on the Board of several major non-profits, such as the Asia Society, Teaching Matters, and the PowHERful Foundation. Mr. Kalsi is a Graduate of Georgetown University and is a member of Georgetown’s Board of Regents; he is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University.
Kevin Beiner is a top Executive with Northwell Health — one of the largest hospital systems in the world — where he is responsible for the operations and management of multiple hospitals in the Eastern region. He started his career in the mailroom, and has climbed the corporate ladder since. Mr. Beiner is intimately familiar with the ins-and-outs of non-profit organizations and development, and has a long, successful career in their management. Kevin is also a preceptor and adjunct lecturer at St. Joseph’s College in New York.
Caroline Gitau is the COO of ZanaAfrica, and is held in very high esteem throughout Nairobi and the non-profit community. Throughout her career, Caroline has held executive positions, managed million dollar portfolios, fundraised for impactful initiatives, and grown multiple organizations through geographical growth and acquiring human talent. She has been involved in Photo Start since day one, and is a valued source of information and support.
